Flikr vs Picasa

So I finally figured out the slideshow. For some reason I couldn't make sense of the Flikr site and get my slideshow to works.
Picasa seemed a bit easier and was closer to the Adobe programs I have used previously.

so if you are keeping track: Flikr - 0 Picasa - 1

Sorry flickr didn't work out for you. I've had success with it but I can see where it might come across confusing.

I definitely thought it was easier to create a slide show for my blog using picasa. Flickr has some pretty cool features though. Another thing I liked about picasa is you can show your private pictures in your blog. With flickr, I had to make my pictures public in order for others to view them. Will likes the price of flickr the best. I am still testing them both out, and can't quite commit to one yet.

I have private pictures in flickr that I have on my blog. Those videos are also set as private. What happened when you went to display non-public pictures?

When I was displaying private pictures on my blog, they wouldn't show up on my blog at all. The space was there for the pictures, but the only way I could get them to show is by logging into flickr or making them public.

I had the same experience that Toni had, private pictures didn't show up in the blog!
