What kind of person are you?

How long does it take you to carve your Halloween pumpkin? Are you someone who cleans it out and then carves the face in a few minutes? Or do you spend most of the evening and into the next day making the face (and you use more than one tool)?

Unfortunately, having moved to Texas, I have joined the ranks of the "one-up the neighbor" decorators. The last couple sets of pumpkins were cleaned and scraped to the just the right thickness, then the outer oranginess removed so that you could get the translucent glow. Then on top of that, there's the extra scraping to remove the uneven glow where the wall thickness is greater than other spots. It's just easier not to do anything than to start one of these projects!
