remember that SNL skit?
well we did our own little rendition last night.
So the many many times that I have said (more like yelled) to the kids "Don't run! Don't slam doors!" came to great reality last night.
As Emily and Jacob played chase, Jacob managed to meet a slamming door with his forehead. We all know that head wounds bleed horribly, and so this one did also. Once we were able to lay him down, test his pupils, and clean the wound, we determined it was cut to the skull and about a inch long.
So off the urgent care! 3 stitches later, Jacob is pretty proud of his "OW" and will show whomever he can.
On to the terrible 2's we go!

We are happy Jakers is doing OK. Isn't it funny how boys are proud of their scars at such an early age. It is inherent.
Looks like it's time for a helmet!
His birthday is around the corner, I am think we get him a bike helmet and he can wear it all the time...
It just must be that time of year, maybe? Matt is going to have to keep his title of most stitches close, since he has people so small after it. We are just so glad Jakers is okay.
There seems to be an inordinate amount of head wounds in males of this family. Big heads or leading with their heads - perhaps.
